TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read these Terms of Business thoroughly. Any work carried out by 4 memories is based on the undertanding that these terms are understood and accepted by the customer

 
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Customers are responsible for providing information completely and accurately. Extra care should be taken when giving special instructions. 4 memories will not be responsible for incorrect orders due to incorrect customer instructions. Verbal instructions are accepted on the basis that 4 memories will not be held responsible for any error that may arise.

ARTWORK

4 memories takes into account requests regarding colour balance. However, without special instruction or colour sample guide, reproduction of colour will be deemed faithful at the discretion of 4 memories. Unless clearly specified, printing compositions will be at the discretion of 4 memories whose decision will be final. To check colour balance, an A4 sized print of either a section or the full image can be ordered. There will be a flat charge of £3.00 per image for this service.

All stated print and trim sizes are nominal and 4 memories will accept no liability for minor variations in size. Images must meet a minimum of 100 dpi resolution at your chosen print size however a 300 dpi is recommended for the highest quality print. 4 memories will always produce the best quality print but cannot be held responsible for final prints produced from poor quality artwork supplied. 4 memories shall be entitled to sub-contract any service it agrees to perform.

PAYMENT

Customers are required to pay the full amount through cheque, postal order, BACS (direct bank transfer) or Paypal. Work will begin on receipt of cleared payment. 

PRICES

We reserve the right to alter our prices without prior notice. Additional work carried out at the customer's request, will be charged accordingly.

OFFERS

One offer cannot be used in conjunction with another or with any voucher codes. Any offers do not include Canvas paintings unless specified

DELIVERY

Delivery to the customer will be by the most affordable means for that item. 4 memories cannot guarantee delivery times or dates due to circumstances beyond our control. Please allow upto 10 days, from confirmation of order, for your goods to be delivered. Whilst every care is taken to pack your artwork, 4 memories will not be liable for damage to artwork whilst in transit. In this event 4 memories needs to be contacted within 24 hours of receiving your order.

LOSS OR DAMAGE

Whilst every care and precaution is taken against loss or damage to originals or articles entrusted to 4 memories, liability for loss or damage shall be limited to the invoice value of the reproduction element of that particular original or article. 

DISCLAIMER

4 memories shall not be required to print any matter, which in its opinion is or may be of an illegal, immoral or libellous nature. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all material presented for photography, printing, copying, duplicating or any other form of reproduction is free from any third party claims for breach of copyright or license. 4 memories shall be indemnified by the customer in respect of any claims, costs and expenses arising out of any libellous matter printed for the customer or any infringement of trade marks, copyright, patent or design.

It is the responsibility for the customer to ensure all artwork is correctly placed using the fittings 4 memories provides. 4 memories cannot be held responsible for damage arising from customer failure to check suitability of areas where artwork is to be placed.

CANCELLATIONS

A request for cancellation after work has commenced can be made. 4 memories will refund the amount paid less all costs incurred up to the time of cancellation. Any deposits paid prior to any work being carried out will be non refundable.

COMPLAINTS

Any complaints regarding a print must be logged with 4 memories within 24 hours of receiving the delivery. It is at the discretion of 4 memories to refund any monies paid less any costs incurred, or to provide a free replacement print where applicable. It is the responsibility for the customer to return the image to 4 memories in its original condition.

FINAL PRINT

Life expectancy and performance of any canvas printing is based on manufacturers and suppliers claims. 4 memories are not liable for any deviation in quality or consistency of printed images and media. 4 memories reserves the right to change media suppliers at any time and does not guarantee consistency of media quality. Due to the nature of inkjet printing on canvas material, 'cracking' may appear where the image is continued around the stretch frame as an image wrap. 4 memories will not accept 'cracking' as the sole reason for a canvas return.
